Drift into Dreams

Continuing on, this MLP piece revolved around finding a whole scene, rather than having the characters standing in space. I tried to find a really adorkable moment for Twilight to find herself in, and while time restrictions meant I couldn't hope to top Book Fort, I think this has its own charm. Here we find TS having dozed off in the middle of trying to catch up on her reading, so now the book is acting more as a pillow than the pillow itself. I had a lot of wood and fabric to detail, and hopefully all the lines don't throw off the perspective. I also think the way I pulled off her multi-toned hair was pretty good.

With tones of her hair and coat being so close, however, I decided to leave most of her body untextured, which likely detracts from the presence of her cutie mark. There's also likely problems with the night stand's base due to rushing it in. Other than those troubles, I'm glad I was able to compose Twilight in as natural a pose as this. I hope you like it!
